Teeth whitening can either be done in the dental surgery or at home.
Home whitening
Home whitening uses custom-made trays which are designed to fit your teeth precisely, allowing a whitening gel to remain in contact with your teeth. These trays are made at the lab after your dentist has taken impressions of your teeth. The teeth whitening process involves wearing the gel-filled trays daily for one hour a day for approximately two weeks.
In-surgery whitening
In-surgery whitening is the fastest and easiest way to whiten your teeth. This in-surgery procedure consists of applying a whitening gel to your teeth, which is then activated with a specialized light. At O’Donovan dental we use Zoom, the latest in-surgery teeth whitening system. It’s clinically proven to whiten your teeth up to 8 shades in just 45 minutes. We also include a set of custom-made trays to maintain your new white smile at home.
